<strong>PERMIT</strong> <strong>TO</strong> <strong>ALLOW</strong> <strong>MINOR</strong> <strong>USE</strong> <strong>OF</strong> <strong>AN</strong> <strong>AGVET</strong> CHEMICAL PRODUCT<strong>PERMIT</strong> NUMBER -PER9300This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMAunder section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows aperson, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in thedesignated jurisdictions. This permit also allows any person to claim that the product can beused in the manner specified in this permit.THIS <strong>PERMIT</strong> IS IN FORCE FROM 7 FEBRUARY 2007 <strong>TO</strong> 31 DECEMBER 2010Permit Holder:AUSTRALI<strong>AN</strong> M<strong>AN</strong>GO INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION LTDC/o Peter Dal Santo21 Rosella AvenueSTRATHFIELDSAYE VIC 3551Persons who can use the product under this permit:Persons generally.CONDITIONS <strong>OF</strong> <strong>USE</strong>Product to be used:ACTARA INSECTICIDEContaining: 250 g/kg THIAMETHOXAM as the only active constituent.Directions for Use:Crop <strong>Pest</strong> RateMangoes Mango seed weevil 6 g / 1 L water per tree(Sternochetus mangifarae)Critical Use Comments:Application should be done immediately upon completion of harvest when red flush will beactively produced and at latest before flowering. Apply via metered delivery device, such as,knapsack, tractor or bike mounted sprayer with hand wand or trigger nozzle to ensure accuratedosing. Apply under drippers or sprinklers to ensure good penetration.The best results are achieved in orchards with dripper systems where the product is applieddirectly underneath the drippers and Actara is delivered to the root zone. If mini sprinklersystems are used, then the product must be applied around the base of the stem. Irrigate withinone day of application to wash into the soil.PER9300 Permit Version 1 Page 1 of 2


Soil around the plant stems should be free of weeds before applying Actara. Poor or ineffectiveirrigation systems can hamper the efficacy of Actara. Actara must only be applied to healthy,activily growing trees.Withholding Period:DO NOT harvest for 130 days after application (eg DO NOT apply after flowering).Jurisdiction:NSW, QLD, NT, WA only.Additional Conditions:This permit provides for the use of a product in a manner other than specified on the approvedlabel of the product.
