NominationsNominations to the ETAS Committee 2014 – 2017The following nominations have been received:POSITIONPresidentNational CoordinatorNOMINEEJoAnn SalvisbergvacantPRESIDENT: JoAnn SalvisbergJoAnn is a lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, School of Business.Since 1990, she has been involved in TESOL, primarily teaching adult learners, and in teachertraining since 2001. In addition to the CTEFLA, she completed an MEd in ELT in 2001 and aPhD in TEFL and Social Psychology in Education in 2007 with a primary research focus oncommunicative skills assessment in the EFL classroom. She has served ETAS in various roles:three years on the ETAS Committee as Teacher Development Chair, eight years as RegionalCoordinator of the Bern/Neuchâtel Region, and as Research SIG Coordinator since startingup this SIG in 2005. Furthermore, she has also held positions in other English teacherassociations, first for three years as the IATEFL BESIG Editor, then as a member on theIATEFL Publications Committee.
