8-<strong>Music</strong> <strong>and</strong> Dance Performance <strong>and</strong> Education<br />
Versatile chamber music ensemble comprised of violin,<br />
cello, <strong>and</strong> piano, available for public concerts <strong>and</strong> private<br />
functions ( weddings, receptions, Xmas parties). Repertoire<br />
ranges from classical <strong>and</strong> light classical to contemporary<br />
(show tunes, ballads, tangos <strong>and</strong> jazz). Featured at the<br />
Kananaskis G8 Summit Prime Minister’s Reception.<br />
<strong>Music</strong> for all occasions in two different combos: 1. Smooth,<br />
classic <strong>and</strong> “cocktail” jazz; st<strong>and</strong>ards, popular <strong>and</strong> easy<br />
listening tunes; Latino <strong>and</strong> Broadway. 2. Sassy, groovy, <strong>and</strong><br />
contemporary jazz; sultry soul; funky R & B, featuring the<br />
vocal stylings of Florence Shustack. JazzImpact plays<br />
Fusion, Groove, Bazilian jazz, Latin, <strong>and</strong> Afro-Cuban.<br />
Community amateur theatre. No experience necessary.<br />
Produce two main stage presentations per year. Active in<br />
theatre production <strong>and</strong> related activities. Presence in<br />
Canmore <strong>and</strong> the Bow Valley since 1978. Over 120<br />
members. Other activities as available, year round<br />
schedule, call for details.<br />
Guitar <strong>and</strong> bass lessons for all ages. All styles except<br />
classical.<br />
Performing as a solo act Ric writes <strong>and</strong> presents “Roots &<br />
Blues” music. Ric also presents a motivational presentation<br />
entitled "Living the Dream By Building the Dream"<br />
for children <strong>and</strong> adults.<br />
“Shokra” is Kristy Davison <strong>and</strong> Amy Nelson, playing a unique<br />
sound they describe as “rockabilly-soul”, using guitars,<br />
banjo, keyboards <strong>and</strong> anything else they can bang on.<br />
Available for gigs/events.<br />
Good-time b<strong>and</strong> with an eclectic assortment of music from<br />
Celtic to Prine <strong>and</strong> traditional Cape Breton fiddle to<br />
contemporary Canadian folk. Barn Dances to Kitchen<br />
Parties!<br />
Classical pianist, freelances extensively in Canada <strong>and</strong> is<br />
frequently heard on CBC Radio. She is a Collaborative<br />
Artist with Morningside <strong>Music</strong>Bridge <strong>and</strong> is the Accompanist<br />
Coordinator at the Mount Royal College Conservatory.<br />
