Hub location for Nordic sport in Canada. The BWTC’s recently expanded weight room serves athletes as well as the general public. Other rooms available for rent by public and private groups include the Spray Board Room, Athlete Lounge, Rundle Meeting Room and the 150 capacity Haig Banquet Room which is ideal for wedding receptions, conferences and retreats. Rental space available at all three Canmore schools, including Canmore Collegiate High School 250-seat theatre, gymnasium, classrooms. Community Hall: Located on the upper floor of the Canmore Recreation Centre, this hall seats 230 people, full professional kitchen available (and may be rented separately). Historic community centre built in 1910 is home to "The Pine Tree Players", "artsPeak" and "Live on 7th" concert series. Available for all types of community events - dances, concerts, theatrical presentations, banquets, weddings, receptions and meetings. Up to 150 capacity. A year-round recreation destination. The Day Lodge features a café, fireplace, changing rooms, showers, day lockers and five rooms available for private rental. Hours of operation: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, daily (9:00 am to 5:30 pm in the summer). Located on the upper floor of the Canmore Recreation Centre, this hall seats 230 people.
