The Grundfos solutionUsing the terrain cabinet <strong>at</strong> the Engvej Øst local pumpingst<strong>at</strong>ion as an example, the robust cabinet includes a meter<strong>and</strong> a sewage pump controller(Dedic<strong>at</strong>ed Controls) with a CIM 250 module which has aGSM/ GPRS modem with its own IP address <strong>and</strong> mobilephone number. The use of a SIM card to establish thewireless connection makes install<strong>at</strong>ion extremely easy,as the GSM/GPRS oper<strong>at</strong>or delivers the communic<strong>at</strong>ioninfrastructure. D<strong>at</strong>a is communic<strong>at</strong>ed wirelessly every10 minutes to the central SCADA system.
