industrial manager<br />

My name is pascal, i am 22 years old and in the second year of my training to become an industrial manager.<br />
After a successful school-leaving exam i had to question myself what i wanted to do in my future life and especially in which direction<br />
my professional path should lead.<br />
i have already been informed about the field of work of an industrial manager and so i knew that this job will suit me.<br />
at school i was interested into mathematics the most, what also supported my decision to become an industrial manager. as i was born in Herne,<br />
i have already known about the VulKan <strong>group</strong> and because it is also one of the most successful companies in Herne i decided to apply for an<br />
education as industrial manager. Just a short time after my setting test i was invited to the job interview, which has been very positive. therefore<br />
i received the chance to begin my training at VulKan in august 2010.<br />
my education started in the sales department, where i looked after customers and wrote offers as well as orders. i also pursued the whole order<br />
processing not just in front of my desk but also in the manufacturing hall at the machines with big interest. Because of the international customer<br />
contact, i was able to improve my english skills.<br />
in the next stage of the training i was working in the purchase department, where i maintained contact with suppliers and independently wrote<br />
orders. i also visited suppliers in company with the head of the department. during those visits i was allowed to follow the contract negotiations.<br />
due to these positive impressions, i will choose the purchase department for my final oral examination as special department.<br />
afterwards i also went through the Human resources department, Financial and accountancy department. Here i got an insight into the recruiting<br />
of new personnel as well as in central processes of the accounting.<br />
my chances to be taken over after the training by VulKan, are rather good. i would be very glad to be able to work as a qualified industrial<br />
manager in the purchase of the VulKan <strong>group</strong>.<br />
