The measurement of transfer moulding pressures and duration as well as temperature and pressure profiles in the vulcanization tool. This in conjunction with the programmable heating times and tempering curves ensure satisfactory vulcanization with reproducible quality for small and large elastomer components with volumes from 0.4 to 140 litres. To verify the process parameters and minimize development time beforehand, the vulcanization process is accompanied by filling simulations and heating time calculations.

These include a rotation test station for speeds of up to 2,200 rpm, a test station with a maximum test torque of 5,000 kNm and a dynamic test station with an average static load of up to 315 kNm, onto which a dynamic oscillating torque of 120 kNm can be superimposed with a frequency of 22 Hz. Using a highly dynamic test station limit loads for couplings are established as a function of elastomer life and core temperature.
