Each memberof the Schlage channel of distribution is free to sell in anyarea and at any price. It is vital to our success and for theeffective management of the distribution of our productsthat the Schlage customer relationship, once it issatisfactorily established between us, should not bechanged without our approval. Therefore, after selection bySchlage as a distributor of one or more of Schlage products,a customer should continue to perform that distributionfunction from the location of its business at the place orplaces utilized at the time of selection. A customer shouldnot change its Schlage distribution function or establish adifferent or additional location without the prior writtenconsent of Schlage.Schlage reserves the right to discontinue, after appropriatenotice, sale of its products to any customer which refuses toadhere to this policy. Schlage also reserves the right tochange, in its sole discretion, the number and locations ofthe distributors authorized to distribute its products in anyarea. Note: Mortise locks andpreparations are not considered standard and are notguaranteed under this program. During the initialinstallation, if there is a problem with the Lock Product’sperformance, the Original User may simply contact SchlageCustomer Service at 877-288- 7707 in the U.S. andCanada.NON-LOCK PRODUCT: 1-Year Limited Mechanical andElectronics WarrantySubject to the terms and conditions of this warranty,Schlage extends a 1-year limited mechanical andelectronics warranty to the original consumer user (“OriginalUser”) of our Schlage brand non-lock product used inconjunction with our Lock Product (“Non- Lock Product”)against defects in material and workmanship, as long as theOriginal User occupies the residential premises upon whichthe Lock Product was originally installed. “Lock Product” and“Non-Lock Product” are collectively referred to herein as“Product”.What Schlage will do: Upon return of the defective Productto Schlage, Schlage’s sole obligation, at its option, is toeither repair or replace the Product, or refund the originalpurchase price in exchange for the Product.Original User: This warranty only applies to the Original Userof Products.
