Theserequirements apply to Manufacturers, Distributors, and Special Processors providingparts or services for Cessna Aircraft Company when this document is specified byinclusion on a purchase order (PO) or contract issued by Cessna Aircraft Company.In the event that the PO or contract conflicts with the requirements of this document, thePO or contract requirement will supersede.2.0 INTRODUCTIONCQRS flows down the quality system requirements of Code of Federal Regulation,Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 21.137, and defines Cessna’s additional qualityrequirements. It also advises suppliers that their quality system, facilities, and those ofany sub-tier supplier are subject to site evaluations by Cessna, Cessna customers andregulatory agencies.The Director/Manager of Cessna Aircraft Company Integrated Supply Chain QualityEngineering must approve deviations to the requirements included herein. Requests fordeviation shall be documented and submitted to Cessna Supply Chain QualityEngineering (SCQE). Contact information can be found at www.supplier.cessna.com.2.1 Cessna Supplier ApprovalSuppliers’ quality systems shall comply with the latest revision of the appropriate qualitysystems standard along with the Cessna specific quality requirements within thisdocument. Documented evidence of compliance to the appropriate quality managementsystem (QMS) standard along with a successful onsite Cessna Aircraft or TextronAerospace Company supplier quality audit is required prior to production.Documented evidence may be in the form of registration by an accredited registrar whois approved for registrations to the required aerospace standard and listed in the OnlineAerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS) database (www.iaqg.sae.org/oasis) oran affidavit confirming compliance based on an internal audit or second party audit.Cessna approval is required for all Manufacturers, Distributors (Pass Through Distributor)and Special Processors who supply aircraft parts or services. Interior fabric/textilesuppliers are exempt unless they provide structural, flight critical or restraining systemitems. Suppliers providing commercial product (not specifically designed for theaerospace industry) may also be approved without showing compliance to therequirements outlined in the document.All written and oral communications with the supplier as well as the supplier’sspecifications, procedures and reports shall be in English.Questions regarding quality approval shall be directed to Cessna SCQE.
