I’ve used services in the
Club House. How many
do I have left?
Every semester, registered student organizations
get the following quota of
student services:
500 copies
100 buttons
100 balloons
20 poster boards
Use of die cut machine
Use of banner paper
At the beginning of every month, the
Student Involvement and Leadership
staff compile a student services quota
form for each organization to inform
organizations how many of each service
they have used and how many they
have remaining. These quota forms
have just been completed and put in
your mailboxes.
If you have questions,
about your
service usage, ask
us! Contact Gina Lavagna, by email:
glavagna@fau.edu, by phone: 561-297-
2934, or stop by the Club House, to
find out your service quota.
Club Resource Guide...
Advertise, Advertise, Advertise!
Why advertise? Advertising
helps an organization
reach its goals—to
raise money, to attract
new members, or to provide
a program or service.
In order to get the
right results, careful
thought and planning
should be put into your
campaign.
The most effective advertising
allows the
reader to grasp all the
important facts of the
program quickly. Promotional
messages
should bear a clearly
printed message that is designed to evoke a response
from the viewer. They do not necessarily
need to be extremely artistic, but your message
should be clear and understandable to the reader.
Announcements sent to faculty,
Greek organizations, and
other relevant groups
The Club House offers many advertising resources
for registered student organizations, including
up to 500 free copies, 100 balloons, 100
buttons, and 20 poster boards per semester.
Lastly, don’t forget about your current members!
Send reminders about meetings, activities,
and events. Students often have a ton going on,
and they may need a friendly reminder (or two)
to get them to attend your meeting or event, or
help in recruiting more members.
