Terrestrial band- Preamplifiers power -Satellite bandThe power for terrestrial band are: OFF, 13V, 18V and 24V.If, contrarily, the satellite band has been selected, the installer can select the power and thetone of the LNB, and the following sub-menu will appear. At the bottom of the previous window, the band (high or low) and the polarization (vertical orhorizontal) corresponding to the power and tone selected are indicated:OFF13V / 400mA18V / 300mA24V / 75mA13V 22KHz / 400mA18V 22KHz / 300mAAutolow band – vertical polarizationlow band – horizontal polarizationpre-amplifier powerhigh band – vertical polarizationhigh band – horizontal polarizationThe channel table selected automatically inserts the suitablevoltage and tone (considering a universal LNB) to select the (highor low) band and the (vertical or horizontal) polarization to tune inon the respective channel. It should be noted that when a voltage is enabled to power an external device, the only red LEDthat the equipment possesses turns on. If this LED blinks, it is a sign of aproblem. One should also bear in mind that voltage programming is associated with the band chosen forthe equipment, so if one chooses 24V in terrestrial, this will not imply that the same voltage willbe used for satellite. The equipment continually monitors the voltage through the 'F' connector, and warns of anyanomaly using a message window that is overprinted on any other open window. The possible problems that may appear in relation to external unit power are the following:Measures Config. 32
