2010 first half year results volume momentum sustained - Unilever

The directors declare that, to the best of their knowledge:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF DIRECTORS
• this condensed set of interim financial statements, which have been prepared in accordance with IAS 34 ‘Interim
Financial Reporting’, gives a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit or loss of Unilever;
and
• the interim management report gives a fair review of the information required pursuant to UK DTR regulations of
4.2.7 and 4.2.8 and section 5:25d (8)/(9) of the Dutch Act on Financial Supervision (Wet op het financieel toezicht).
Unilever’s Directors are listed in the Annual Report and Accounts for 2009, with the exception of the following changes:
• The Rt Hon The Lord Brittan of Spennithorne QC, DL, Professor Wim Dik and Narayana Murthy retired as Non-
Executive Directors on 12 May 2010 following the Group’s AGMs; and
• Jean-Marc Huët became an Executive Director and The Rt Hon Sir Malcolm Rifkind MP became a Non-Executive
Director on 12 May 2010 following their respective appointments at the Group’s AGMs.
