The Board of Education approves the following 2005-2006 NJSIAA MembershipResolution:NJSIAA Membership ResolutionWHEREAS, the Jackson Board of Education maintains that it is an important part of astudent’s education to participate in sports on the high school level, andWHEREAS, the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association, responsible pursuantNJSA 18A:11-3 to provide the bylaws, rules and regulations that govern sports forhigh schools in the State of New Jersey,WHEREAS, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Jackson Board of Education,District #2360, in the County of Ocean, herewith enrolls Jackson Memorial HighSchool as a member of the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association toparticipate in the approved interscholastic school programs sponsored by the NewJersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this membership shall continue in effect until or unlessrescinded by the Board of Education and shall be included among those policiesadopted annually by the Board,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in adopting this resolution the Board of Educationadopts as its own policy and agrees to be governed by the Constitution Bylaws andRules and Regulations of the NJSIAA.6.
