A This is due to a lack of feed, use a high potash feed when watering (tomato or rosefeed are very good) twice a week from March to whenever they start to open. What can I grow Clematis up or through? A Anything really, trellis, strong wires, other climbing plants (roses are good companion plants) Obelisks, wigwams, the list is endless. They can even be trailed across a bed of heathers if you wish! Can I plant two Clematis together? A Yes of course, try and make sure they are both in the same pruning group, as this will make it easier for you when it comes around to pruning them.
