There were 87 individual entrants in the South Island Finals of Brainbee this year.<br />
Ellen Gipp and Sarah Woodfield, Year 11 made it to the Top 18 students with Ellen Gipp being in the<br />
final Top Six – a very good result.<br />
Mrs R. Mortimer will be recruiting Year 10 students near the end of this year to compete in Brainbee<br />
2012 (first prize for the individual competition is a flight to Australia for the Australasian finals).<br />
