traction and control. Starting with wearbars, for example.
DOOLY RUNNER
The Dooly wearbar features two carbide runners
mounted as a unit, each with 4-in., 6-in. or 8-in. of
carbide to accommodate all types of trail riders.

WEARBAR
APPLICATIONS
For positive turning control in deep snow, on ice, or
on hard-packed trails, we recommend runners with
carbide edges. We offer many different types for
your riding level and sled use. We have worked
closely with Arctic Cat engineering to bring you the
most effective carbide wearbars.

REAR ANGLE CUT
The taper on the end of wearbars allows a sled
to be pulled off a wooden trailer deck without
hanging up.
60˚ TURNING CARBIDE
This is the heart of a carbide wearbar. Carbide
resists wear and prolongs a sharp edge. Sharpedged
carbide blades have a very positive
turning effect on ice and hard-packed trails.
The longer the turning carbide, the greater the
turning effect.

3 HARDWELD
This hard steel material increases the life of the
host wearbar, but has little effect on turning.

CARBIDE WEARPADS
Slightly rounded carbide pads greatly increase
the host wearbar life at critical wear points.
They have little effect on turning.
HOST BAR
The wearbar without any steering attachments
has a turning effect in deep snow, but very
little on ice and hardpack.
