The envelope of the executive<br />
building is a unitised façade series<br />
SAME 200 designed by <strong>Somec</strong>.<br />
The 1800x3600 mm façade unit<br />
– entirely pre-fabricated at factory –<br />
is divided into two: one transparent<br />
self- balanced casement glazing,<br />
and one spandrel façade clad with<br />
natural stone panels with alveolar<br />
lightened aluminium support.<br />
DGU panels are structurally fixed<br />
with silicone, while joints are<br />
mechanical for spandrel stone<br />
panels. The transparent surface<br />
is masked with sunshades in<br />
extruded aluminium tubular profiles<br />
supported by aluminium plates<br />
integrated and sealed in the façade<br />
supporting grid.<br />
