63A Interlocked Switch Socket Outlets (380 / 525V)Junction boxesFeaturesOur Socket Feeders are of composite design featuringa high-quality steel enclosure to IP 55 degree ofprotection complete with transparent window tocheck the status of the 30mA earth leakage circuitbreakerwhich is fully shrouded for protection againstaccidental contact. The unit can accommodate cables up to 95mm2. A10mm diameter brass earthing stud is also providedfor termination inside or outside the enclosure. Cableentry is via a removable top or bottom entry glandplate, with a standard finish of durable epoxycoating in electric orange. The switch sockets are mechanically interlocked unitswhich are manufactured from cast aluminium andepoxy coated in electric orange, alternately thermoplasticmaterials can be used. These sockets are ofheavy duty design and are also suitable for outdoorinstallation, featuring high quality materials throughout.Special safety feature+SPECIFICATIONSIEC 309CEE17BS 4343DIN 49462SANS 1239An incorporated earth leakage circuit breaker unit willdetect a fault and trip to isolate the socket where theactual fault occurs, namely of the plugged-in equipment, and not at the distribution board, which maybe far distanced. In additon, the tripped feeder willonly render one user out of order and not a chain ofsockets as in the case where an earth leakage unitprotects a chain of socket outlets.NoteWe can manufacture a comprehensive range offeeders to the clients specifications, utilising differentmakes of circuit-breaker and/or earth leakage unitcomplete with shunt trip, indication etc.Electrical dataType no.
