Approximately 2,000 rainbowtrout are released between April 15 and May 16at this site to enhance angling opportunities.Restrictions: Refer to the <strong>Alberta</strong> Guide toSportfishing Regulations. Release dates areweather dependant.Partners: ACA, ASRDNE34Legal Reservoir –Enhanced Fish StockingProperty Details: The reservoir is located inCentennial Park in the town of Legal. FromHighway 651 which becomes 50th Ave, turnsouth onto 50th St. and then east onto 49th Ave.Centennial Park is on the east end of 49th Ave.Approximately 2,000 rainbow trout are releasedbetween April 15 and May 16 at this site toenhance angling opportunities.Restrictions: Refer to the <strong>Alberta</strong> Guide toSportfishing Regulations. TakeHighway 870 north to Highway 631. Continue northon 631 for 5 km. The property consists of threequarter sections of mature aspen forestinterspersed with several forage fields. The fields arehayed on a rotational basis. Wildlife found in thearea includes white-tailed deer, moose, black bear,grouse and a variety of small mammals andsongbirds.Restrictions: Day use only. No open fires.Foot access only.Partners: ACA, ASRDQuarter Sections: SW/SE-22-053-11-W4M, NE-15-053-11-W4MNE37McGrane LagoonProperty Details: This property is located directlynorthwest of the town of Lac La Biche. Theproperty consists of river lots 53 and 53 1/2 onthe south shore of Lac La Biche. A fenceline runsalong the north and south boundary of theproperty. It is representative of relatively oldgrowth aspen forest, as well as an excellentwetland complex on the south and west sides ofthe lagoon. Wildlife found in the area includeswaterfowl, shorebirds and a variety of smallmammals and songbirds.Restrictions: Boat access is not possible at theMcGrane Lagoon property. Day use only. No openfires. Foot access only.Partners: ACA, ASRDQuarter Sections: NE-22-067-14-W4MNE38McMasterProperty Details: This property is locatedapproximately 4 km northwest of Hamlin. TakeHighway 859 north for 3.2 km and then turnwest for 0.8 km. The property consists of maturebalsam poplar forest. A small lake is located inthe centre of the property and an abandonedfield is located on the east side. Wildlife found inthe area includes white-tailed deer, moose,black bear, ruffed grouse, waterfowl, shorebirdsand a variety species of small mammals andsongbirds.Restrictions: Day use only. No open fires.Foot access only.Partners: ACA, ASRDQuarter Sections: NW-07-058-13-W4MNE39McNabbProperty Details: This property is locatedapproximately 24 km southeast of Vermilion.The property consists of open grasslands,shrublands and aspen bluffs. Wildlife found inthe area includes white-tailed and mule deer,moose, grouse and a variety of species of smallmammals and songbirds.NE35LunnfordProperty Details: This property is locatedapproximately 17 km southeast of Barrhead. Theproperty consists only those parts of the quartersections that fall on the east side of the PembinaRiver. The property can only be accessed fromthe southeast. The property is made up ofabandoned and naturally reseeded fields,shrublands, and a small wooded area. It isbounded on the west by the Pembina Riverwhich contains walleye, goldeye and northernpike. A farm development lease covers a 13 acrefield on the east side of the property.
