When a job step is completed in more than <strong>the</strong> time specified <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> <strong>Job</strong> <strong>Scheduler</strong> issues a SCHEDULER-711<br />

warning.<br />

The time can be specified in <strong>the</strong> formats HH:MM or HH:MM:SS or specified as a number of seconds or as percentage.<br />

If specified as a percentage, <strong>the</strong>n 100% is determined from <strong>the</strong> average run times of previous job steps, as<br />

recorded in <strong>the</strong> SCHEDULER_HISTORY databese.<br />

Superordinate <strong>Job</strong> Chains - a Chain of <strong>Job</strong> Chains<br />

Superordinate job chains refer to o<strong>the</strong>r job chains and are described using <strong>the</strong> . <<br />

job_chain_node.end> XML elements. A superordinate job chain can only contain simple job chains.<br />

Superordinate job chains cannot be used in combination with distributed orders.<br />
