Figure 15 and 16 (both from Folio 25r depicting Agag) show a short-sleevedshirt, although the ragged edge makes me wonder if the viewer is supposed to interpretthe short sleeves as evidence of a rough fight.BodyI don’t think the bodies of the shirts in figures 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are as wide as the tunics.However, this could just be an illusion based on the fact that it’s seen without the belt. Onthe other hand, the outer tunic will lay more smoothly if the underclothes are narrower.27
