Over two dozen faculty applied for 14 CoreCurriculum Fellowships. These fellows met monthly with an assignment targeting thedevelopment of engaging teaching strategies. Each fellow was awarded $500 and distinguishedthroughout campus in faculty meetings as Core Fellows. The initial assessment indicates a muchgreater understanding of our first year student needs and a willingness to alter teaching strategiesto meet those needs.
