OWSs <strong>and</strong> CWTs will provide a copy of the MOA totheir parent MAJCOMs upon request.1.8.4. St<strong>and</strong>ing Operating Procedures. AF weather units will develop <strong>and</strong> maintain SOPs. The formatof SOPs should be as functional as possible for the users. For example, they may be document-style ina binder, placed on quick-reference SOP cards, or web based.1.8.4.1. Unit st<strong>and</strong>ing operating procedures will be reviewed for accuracy <strong>and</strong> updated at a frequencynot to exceed one year from the date originally published. St<strong>and</strong>ing operating procedureswill be horizontally consistent with other weather documents (i.e. plans <strong>and</strong> annexes, airfield localoperating procedures, OWS-CWT MOA, etc.).1.8.4.2. Administrative Control. SOPs will be maintained in their appropriate work centers. Ifseveral work centers have one or more SOPs in common, the unit will maintain a master list witha Table of Contents to cross-reference the SOP to its location <strong>and</strong> establish unit distribution ofthose SOPs.1.8.4.3. Unit personnel will review SOPs applicable to the areas for which they are position-qualifiedat least annually.1.8.4.4. AF weather units will develop <strong>and</strong> maintain st<strong>and</strong>ing operating procedures for the followingareas:1.8.4.4.1. Open/Close procedures (may be in a checklist form).1.8.4.4.2. Severe weather action procedures.1.8.4.4.3. <strong>Air</strong>field services to include (CWT only):1.8.4.4.3.1.
