Tolentino, Jr., J.S. Wilson and R.F. SeseAN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OFP1,567,307.31 OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARYFOR THE HANDLING AND SHIPMENT COSTS OF FOUR (4) UNITSFIRE TRUCKS DONATED BY THE LIONS INTERNATIONALSUPPORTING ASSOCIATION (LISA) TO THE MAKATI CITYGOVERNMENT, FUNDS SHALL BE TAKEN FROM THEDISCRETIONARY FUNDS OF THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR,EXECUTIVE BUDGET CY 2004, AND FURTHER AUTHORIZINGTHE HONORABLE MAYOR JEJOMAR C. BINAY TO ACCEPT THEDONATION, SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND EXISTING LEGALRULES AND REGULATIONS.

WHEREAS, Lions International Supporting Association (LISA) is donating four (4) unitsof fire trucks to the City of Makati, more particularly described as follows:Two (2) FIRE TRUCKS with ladder and Chassis Nos. FT313 N-50154 andFF1743-10050Two (2) FIRE TRUCKS with Chassis Nos. FP335B-5014521 and NKR57E-0447567WHEREAS, the expenses for the handling and shipment of the fire trucks are agreed tobe shouldered by the City of Makati;WHEREAS, the City Government Makati is grateful to the generosity of the DONOR andhereby signifies its acceptance of the donation.NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AS IT IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THESANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF MAKATI, METRO MANILA, BY VIRTUE OF THEPOWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:Section 1. The amount of P1,567,307.31 or so much thereof as may be necessary ishereby appropriated for the handling and shipment costs of four (4) units fire trucksdonated by Lions International Supporting Association (LISA) to the City Government ofMakati, funds shall be taken from the Discretionary Funds of the Office of the Mayor,Executive Budget CY 2004. The Honorable Mayor Jejomar C. Binay is further authorizedto accept the donation for and in behalf of the City Government, subject to all laws andexisting legal rules and regulations.Section 2.
