Since the establishment of the first LEMKEN blacksmith shop more 

than 200 years ago, many things have changed – the little smithy has 

developed into a company which today employs more than 600 people 

in the company headquarters in Alpen approximately 50 km 

Northwest of Düsseldorf and two field sprayer production plants in 

Meppen and Hetzerath. With a complete machinery range for soil cultivation, 

sowing and plant protection LEMKEN has become one of the 

leading companies of its type in Europe. 

Decades of experience in development and design, with 

modern production and a trustworthy service and backup, 

enables LEMKEN to maintain its position as market leader in soil 

cultivation, seed drilling and plant protection machinery in both 

domestic and export markets.

our designers can simulate in virtual 

reality the function of a new 

implement long before the first 

prototype is manufactured.

LEMKEN's renowned service 

applies immediately one of our 

products is purchased. With 17 

representatives and depots in 

German, strategically located to 

be close to our customers, and 

with subsidiaries and importers in 

over 40 countries LEMKEN provides 

a fast supply of implements 

and spare parts. Where a part is 

not in dealer's stock it is possible 

to send it from the central stock 

in Alpen by overnight shipment in 

the shortest possible time. If 

once there is no part available, 

the logistic centre in Dortmund, 

which works 365 days around 

the clock, will deliver this part to 

the customer within 24 hours.
