RESOURCE ® PUREE APPEAL ®Pureed Food EnhancerPUREED HAMBURGER <strong>on</strong> a BUN (CONTINUED)HOW TO PREPARE:Bread Layer:1. Crumble bread into blender or food processor. Add hot water and blend until smooth in texture.2. Add RESOURCE ® PUREE APPEAL ® Pureed Food Enhancer and blend briefly until mixed, scraping sides if necessary. Divide bread mixture in half:spread half evenly into pan coated with n<strong>on</strong>stick cooking spray. Set aside the sec<strong>on</strong>d half of bread mixture for top layer of sandwich.Meat Layer:3. Blend meat with hot broth until smooth in texture.4. Add RESOURCE ® PUREE APPEAL ® Pureed Food Enhancer and blend briefly until mixed, scraping sides if necessary. Spread evenly over first layer.Bread Layer:5. Spread sec<strong>on</strong>d half of bread mixture evenly over the meat mixture.6. Cover tightly and bake in c<strong>on</strong>venti<strong>on</strong>al oven at 350ºF until temperature reaches 150-160ºF, or knife inserted near center comes out clean. Let set for 5 –10 minutes before slicing into approximately 3 x 5 inch squares. NOTE: C<strong>on</strong>vecti<strong>on</strong> Oven – bake at 300ºF for 10 – 15 minutes less time.Pressureless Steamer – Cook in steamer for 10 – 15 minutes less time. Times are approximate and should be adjusted for differences in oven andsteamer c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong>s.7. Cut into 3 x 5 inch porti<strong>on</strong>s and serve.
