Updated as at 16/11/2011 10:53Guangzhou. 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 決 定 申 辦 2023 年 第 19 屆 亞 運 會 , 但 撥 款 提 案 遭 立 法 會 否 決 。The SF&OC failed to bid for the 19th Asian Games in 2023 due to the voting down offunding support by the Legislative Council. 香 港 派 出 運 動 員 參 與 新 加 坡 首 屆 青 年 奧 運 會 , 取 得 2 銀 。Athletes from Hong Kong participated in the 1st Youth Olympic Games in Singapore,winning 2 silver medals. 溫 哥 華 主 辦 第 21 屆 冬 季 奧 運 會 和 馬 斯 喀 特 主 辦 第 2 屆 亞 洲 沙 灘 運 動 會 , 香 港 派出 運 動 員 參 賽 。 並 在 第 2 屆 亞 洲 沙 灘 運 動 會 取 得 1 銀 3 銅 。Hong Kong won 1 silver and 3 bronze medals at the 2nd Asian Beach Games inMuscat, and participated in the 21st Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver. 響 應 國 際 奧 委 會 號 召 , 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 將 奧 運 歡 樂 跑 擴 展 為 「 奧 運 日 暨 奧 運 歡 樂跑 」, 於 香 港 迪 士 尼 度 假 區 舉 行 。In response to IOC’s call for a restructuring of Olympic Day, SF&OC organised asports carnival by combining the elements of a fun run, games and sportsdemonstrations in a day’s programme at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.2011 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 派 出 運 動 員 參 加 阿 拉 木 圖 — 阿 斯 塔 納 第 7 屆 亞 洲 冬 季 運 動 會 。Hong Kong participated in Astana-Almaty at the 7th Asian Winter Games. 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 慶 祝 60 周 年 的 活 動 正 式 展 開 。Events to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of SF&OC were launched. 國 際 奧 委 會 會 長 羅 格 伯 爵 蒞 臨 香 港 出 席 酒 會 , 誌 慶 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 六 十 周 年 。Jacques ROGGE, IOC President, visit Hong Kong to attend the Reception incelebration of SF&OC 60th Anniversary. 為 慶 祝 成 立 六 十 周 年 , 港 協 暨 奧 委 會 代 表 團 前 赴 北 京 拜 訪 中 國 奧 林 匹 克 委 員 會 、國 家 體 育 局 和 國 務 院 港 澳 事 務 辦 公 室 , 以 促 進 中 港 體 育 交 流 和 合 作 。To celebrate its 60 th Anniversary, SF&OC Delegation paid a courtesy visit to theChinese Olympic Committee, General Administration of Sport of China and HongKong And Macao Affairs Office Of The State Council in Beijing.14
