40Increased Demands for LTSS• As people move out of nursing homes and into othersettings, they require more of the services providedthrough the Aging Network:– OAA Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) – e.g.,nutrition, social services, caregiver services (allstates/territories)– One or more Medicaid HCBS waiver programs areprovided through Aging Network (32 states*)– State funded HCBS through Aging Network (24 states*)– In some states, the Aging Network is providing thetransition services for MFP (e.g., OH, GA)*Source: NASUAD, “State of the States Survey 2011”
