Residential and Light Commercial Hydronic Heat-<br />
Item #ERRH<br />
Hydronic heating systems use hot water to carry heat to<br />
occupied spaces. Today's systems employ various piping<br />
arrangements to allow for zoned heat control. Many of<br />
these zoned systems use microprocessor controls to<br />
allow different heat levels to areas heated. The heat<br />
exchange units vary from stand up radiators, to<br />
baseboard units, to in-floor radiant heat systems. These<br />
complex systems require highly competent technicians.<br />

Covers areas of service and troubleshooting of<br />
air- to-air heat pump systems.<br />
Carbon Monoxide- Item #ERCO<br />
To ensure public health and safety the following<br />
occupations need to be aware of Carbon Monoxide<br />
dangers and remediation procedures: First Responders<br />
(Fire Department EMT personnel and Paramedics),<br />
Inspectors (local government and independent home<br />
inspectors), Technicians (HVAC, plumbers, and utility<br />
company workers). Carbon Monoxide Safety<br />
Association (COSA) recognized certification. This is a<br />
fifty-question exam.<br />
System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting Procedures -<br />
Item# ERSDTP<br />
Commercial buildings may experience high occupancy<br />
leading to indoor air quality (IAQ) concerns and<br />
contain a variety of equipment and controls unique to<br />
commercial applications. This certification addresses the<br />
unique issues involved in the service and maintenance<br />
of light commercial air conditioning systems up to 25<br />
tons.<br />

The commercial refrigeration technician must act quickly<br />
and accurately in troubleshooting and service situations.<br />
Competency is essential when perishables are at risk.<br />
