This advanced CSS course for existing CSS practitioners will be split
into two parts. In the first part, students will have the opportunity
to bring their own real-world CSS questions into the classroom for
a work through. Class will include advanced CSS3 demos including
graphics-free rounded corners and speech bubbles; alpha transparency
with RGBA; image-free gradients and drop shadows; scaling
and multiple background images; and embedding unique fonts. In
addition, we’ll create multiple column layouts without floats or CSS
positioning and see how to change layouts for small screens and
mobile devices. We’ll also deal with browser compatibility issues.

more profitably. The class begins with a brief review of financial
basics, and by the end of day two participants will be able to use
financial statements in their businesses and understand techniques

Students will develop a working expertise working with business
documents, not book exercises. Class focus areas: entering and paying
bills; customer invoicing and sales receipts; receiving payments
and managing collections; entering, downloading, coding and reconciling
credit card charges; making bank deposits and reconciling
bank accounts; and creating, modifying and analyzing reports. Students
will create their own company file during the four accounting
sessions and compare to the year end master file. The student with
the best matching file and answers to business questions at the end of
the class will win a $50 gift card. QB1 is a prerequisite for this class.

Video is hot on the web. Youtube is one of the top 3 websites in the
world, and some estimate that 40% of internet traffic is currently
video. In this one-day class, we’ll discuss some of the most common
uses for video on the Internet and the best formats for each. The key
project in this class will be setting up a mini-studio, shooting a video
and uploading it to YouTube for all the world to see.

most effective and inexpensive means of keeping in contact with your
constituents is by email. In this course you will set up an account
with and email provider, start building your list, create your first
