In 2012, we set a record for the number of babiesdelivered at Dublin Methodist, and we’re just getting started.Construction began in January 2013 to add an additionalseven post-partum rooms and expand the Level II NationwideChildren’s Hospital Special Care Nursery.46% Increase in Deliveries —One Baby at a TimeDublin Methodist is a popular choice for expectant mothersfor many reasons. The hospital devotes 34 rooms to newmothers and their babies. Each of the nine birthing suites isprivate, spa-like and has a large family area and a full-sizesleeper sofa for the mother’s support person. Two C-sectionrooms are also available if needed.The labor and delivery team includes board-certifiedobstetricians, anesthesiologists, certified registered nurseanesthetists and neonatologists, along with certified lactationconsultants.
