The operator decided that the existing ESP technology would remainthe same, but the downhole gauge architecture would change. Theoperator selected the following Baker Hughes technologies:• SureSENS 125 downhole gauges to provide accurate pressureand temperature data for the life of the project• SureFlo 298 flowmeter system to give real-time productiondata without affecting recovery potential• WellLIFT E ESP monitoring system to supply downhole, surfaceand diagnostic parameters, enhance system management, andprolong the equipment lifeBoth the operator and Baker Hughes wanted to make sure theproposed new technology would meet the future requirementsfor the surface equipment.
