Ancient AliensSeason OneSCORE: 43History Channelgenerally has a goodreputation in termsof the content theybroadcast. But theyare not perfect, andthey have some reallyodd shows from timeto time. I saw AncientAliens Season One ata store for five dollars.Seven hours and fiftyminutes of viewingtime (plus bonus materialon top of it) for fivedollars sounded likea good deal to me. Atleast until I trudgedthrough this television show.Ancient Aliens SeasonOne is flimsy on facts. They presentevidence that has a varietyof different possible meanings.But the ‘experts’ in this show arelooking at everything throughthe lens of their religious beliefin aliens. That is really importantbecause what is regurgitated inAncient Aliens Season One is areligious belief.It did not take AncientAliens Season One long to go onthe attack against Christianity.Which is really odd. Its one thingfor them to have their belief, butcompletely another one for themto try and turn people away froma personal relationship with God.So we know the fruit of their treeis to do what Satan wants peopleto do.There are some extremepeople in Ancient Aliens SeasonOne. Not only how they look butwhat they say. Various ancient imagesare shown in Ancient AliensSeason One. There are ancient ruinsshown, art work, and re-enactments.It can become extremelyboring. I fell asleep watching oneof the five episodes.Ancient Aliens SeasonOne would have been two hourson television with the commercials.Thankfully it is slightly lesson DVD. But these shows are stillvery long.An important facet ofAncient Aliens Season One is thewords they use. They use: ‘might,’‘could,’ ‘possible,’ and ‘believe.’Their belief in this is the mostinteresting to this reviewer. Theyhave their religious belief, andthey want others to join them.Some of the whacked outideas in Ancient Aliens SeasonOne is aliens tampered with ourDNA to create us. Another oneis aliens moved us to this planet.They have no evidence of thesebeliefs, but they go right on withtheir belief. They look at theHoly Bible and decide everytimeangels are mentioned it actuallymeans aliens. They look at itthrough their lens.I am extremely disappointedwith Ancient AliensSeason One. I felt like I wastedmy money on these three DVDs. NCIS Season FiveSCORE: 53What is it about NCISthat keeps me comingback? The interestingstories thatseem like they couldalmost be plausible?Or the fact that theyfind some fascinatingclue to solve themysteries? One thingI can not stand aboutNCIS is the cloak anddagger. Well its okaythey murdered thatperson because itwas sanctioned. Wowthat was a nice way of ending aninvestigation into a murder. NCISSeason Five is where this show finallyhits its stride. Unfortunatelythere is a lot of bad content in thisshow, and it is becoming predictable.Since we are dealing withmurders (most of the time) wecan expect blood and gore. NCISSeason Five is not a show for children.I would recommend adultsonly, and adults that can stomachthis kind of carnage. There is alsoenticement to lust and a juniorhigh focus on the subject of sex.At least one important personin NCIS Season Five is killed off.This show is not sci-fi so there isno bringing them back.The language in NCIS SeasonFive is atrocious. I am shocked athow many bad words are used repetitivelyin this show. No wondersome in our culture think its thenormal way of talking. The televisionshows are conforming themto that standard. I still believe inspeaking to and with others in arespectful, kind, and loving manner.There are some fun bonus featuresfor fanboys of the show. Thecommentary and other specialfeatures in NCIS Season Fiveactually bored me. We know thecharacters and the stereotypesthey fit into.The biggest problem with NCISSeason Five is it is anti-children,and anti-family. This is one areathat is going to receive a strongresponse from us at FamilyFriendly Gaming since we standup for families and children. NCISSeason Five is encouraging of sexoutside of marriage, and discouragingof people becoming married.And they drill those degenerateideas into the heads of theviewers over and over again.The characters and witty dialogueare some of the reasons Ilike to watch NCIS Season Five.The clever little nicknames theygive one another, and their banteris something that helps thisshow from becoming an abysmalfailure.I was surprised to see a fewthings in NCIS SeasonFive. Animals beingtreated better thanpeople. That whackedout belief does notbelong in a show likeNCIS Season Five. AndMuslims being shownas victims. That topic ismuch stickier.
