Waterways: On the Canal du Nivernais and Canal latéral à la Loire
there are lock keepers at most of the locks, generally manual. Daily open
from 9 to 12 am and 1 to 7 pm. Closed on 01.05 and 14.07. for the
boats at the locks: from March to June and in September and October.
Except for July & August, there is only 1 keeper for several locks, therefore
he will follow you to open each lock
