But how calmand cool those two men were,handling the hot glass andshaping it into beautiful form!And how amazing that somethingas hard as glass is so softand malleable when heated;at the same time it cools offquickly enough to still be easyto shatter or damage evenduring the production process– I really admired the skill ofthose two masters!There are interesting exhibitsaround this new and welldesigned museum, many examplesfor the myriad uses ofglass – from drinking glassesto fibre-optic cables – andextensive explanations on thehistory of glass. However, afteradmiring all the art objects andlearning about techniques ofglass making it was still themost fascinating part ofmy visit to watch themasters at work andart being created. Italmost made me wantto start learn a newtrade!全 不 沾 边 。 融 化 的 玻 璃 , 在 炽热 的 吹 炉 里 , 那 样 的 工 作 环 境 ,在 观 众 们 看 来 , 没 有 电 扇 , 没 有空 调 , 绝 对 是 没 办 法 待 的 , 而 两位 吹 制 玻 璃 的 师 傅 , 却 那 么 有 条不 紊 地 做 着 手 里 的 活 儿 , 把 炙 热的 玻 璃 , 做 成 各 种 漂 亮 的 形 状 ,如 此 的 平 静 , 如 此 的 酷 ! 玻 璃 真是 神 奇 啊 , 如 此 坚 硬 , 加 热 到 一定 的 温 度 , 却 又 如 此 柔 软 ; 同 时 ,它 在 冷 却 的 过 程 中 , 又 重 新 变 得如 此 脆 弱 易 碎 。 我 不 禁 对 两 位 师傅 的 手 艺 , 充 满 了 崇 拜 。徜 徉 在 这 个 很 有 设 计 感 的 博 物 馆里 , 能 发 现 很 多 用 玻 璃 制 成 的 有趣 东 西 , 从 饮 料 杯 , 到 玻 璃 光 纤 ,以 及 很 多 玻 璃 发 展 历 史 上 的 扩 展应 用 , 等 等 。 在 看 过 所 有 的 艺 术品 , 了 解 了 玻 璃 制 造 的 技 术 之 后 ,我 依 然 对 师 傅 们 制 作 玻 璃 的 技艺 , 以 及 一 件 件 艺 术 品 在 他 们 手里 的 诞 生 , 感 到 无 比 的 惊 叹 , 几乎 驱 使 我 要 马 上 去 学 一 下 这 个 新玩 意 儿 !penny@germancentreshanghai.comResponsible for the Content:German Centre for Industry and Trade Shanghai Co.
