THE HONG KONGMANAGEMENT ASSOCIATIONThe Hong Kong Management Association was established in 1960. As a nonprofit-makingprofessional organization, its mission is “to improve theeffectiveness and efficiency of management in Hong Kong.”For the past five decades, the Association has been dedicated to providingHong Kong with the management training, skills and experience it needsto succeed. Offering annually over 2,000 training programmes to more than40,000 participants, HKMA is major provider of management training andeducation in the Territory.To cultivate a general culture of modern management, a series of Awards hasbeen organized. These include the Best Annual Reports Awards, the HKMAQuality Award, the Award for Excellence in Training, the HKMA/TVB Awardfor Marketing Excellence, the Hongkong Management Game and theDistinguished Salesperson Award.With the necessary resources, experience and, in particular, the support fromthe community, the Association endeavours to provide a forum where newideas can be exchanged, where new know-how can be fostered, and wherenew managers can be trained. The Association, and so does Hong Kong,is ready for another era of boom and success.4
