<strong>Portable</strong> <strong>Wi</strong>-Fi ® <strong>Hotspot</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> <strong>Tethering</strong>When you use your phone as a hotspot, other devices—such as laptops, eReaders, tablets, <strong>and</strong> other <strong>Wi</strong>-Fi ®capable items—can use your phone’s internet connection. Please note that this feature requires a subscriptionto a tethering plan.Using the Samsung Galaxy Axiom as a <strong>Wi</strong>-Fi <strong>Hotspot</strong>1. Touch Menu key >Settings > Moresettings. Select<strong>Tethering</strong> <strong>and</strong>portable hotspot.2. Next to <strong>Portable</strong> <strong>Wi</strong>-Fihotspot, move theslider from Off to On(gray to green).3. Review theintroduction to thehotspot <strong>and</strong> touchAccept.Note: Upon firstactivation, review thealert that enablingportable <strong>Wi</strong>-Fihotspot will turn off<strong>Wi</strong>-Fi. Touch OK.4. Touch Configure.5. On any <strong>Wi</strong>-Ficapable device, findthe network createdby the SamsungGalaxy Axiom <strong>and</strong>select it to connectto the portablehotspot.
<strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> <strong>Tethering</strong>The Samsung Galaxy Axiom can also share an internet connection with a computer over a <strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> data cable.Please note that this feature requires a subscription to a tethering plan.1. Insert the <strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> end of thecable into the <strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> porton the computer. Insertthe other end of the cableinto the charging port onthe phone.2. Touch Menu key >Settings > Moresettings. Select<strong>Tethering</strong> <strong>and</strong>portable hotspot.3. Touch the checkboxnext to <strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> tethering.A green check willappear in the box whenthe feature is on.4. Review theintroduction totethering <strong>and</strong> touchAccept.5. Your Galaxy Axiomwill indicate that it isnow tethered, <strong>and</strong>your computer willautomatically install adriver for your phone.6. Simply uncheck thecheckbox next to<strong><strong>US</strong>B</strong> tethering to stoptethering.
