Of note; expect the instructor or fellow students to challenge your statements, agreement is not sought simply issueclarity. Likewise, when you are challenging another’s position all respect must be paid, remember you will beaddressing or challenging a statement not the individual making said statement. All comments should be pertinentto the discussion. Failure to adhere to proper etiquette, i.e. abusive or foul language, yelling or overly loud voiceprojection or failure to heed the instructor’s will, will be cause to significantly lower the offending student’s finalparticipation grade and/or overall grade. If the Instructor deems necessary the student may be removed, possiblypermanently, from the class.A deduction to the student’s participation grade is permanent.No make-ups, re-dos, or extra credit are issued in regards to a missed or poorly executed assignment/quiz orexam.OF NOTE: A student who has successfully executed the class throughout the entire semester, goodattendance, getting 90% or higher on assignments, quizzes and exams. And, on the last day of class, prior tofinals week, has an “A” average, can opt out of the final.NOW be sure you have all your questions answered prior to dismissing for the end of class first day.
