EUROLUCE / Interni - MilanoFor this biennial celebration of international design, Modular chose not to attend the Euroluceexhibition and instead participated in the side event “Interni”. During the entire fair, people visitingEuroluce could alternatively follow a circuit through Milan during which exhibitors invited them toprivate showings. Modular’s concept was built around the theme of 70’s tennis. After having workedtheir way through a mini labyrinth, visitors were given the opportunity to enjoy a sports drink or arefreshing draught beer.UPCOMING FAIRSBatimat, 3 - 8 november 2003, hall 7.2/G/51, ParisDecocontract, 6 - 9 september, hall 12, stand F16-G17CONSTRUMAT - BarcelonaModular once again amazed visitors at its joint stand with the Spanish subsidiary. A professionalactor was hired to lead an everyday life on this year’s Construmat stand. “Bertrand” had a wholeseventies house at his disposal, which included a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room, allworked out in detail. As people visited Bertrand’s home, they could admire Modular’s latest products, all perfectly incorporated into the stand’s concept. More than one eyebrow was lifted when Bertrandstarted drinking more beer than was obviously good for him, when he enjoyed a good siesta in thecouch or in his bed, and when he energetically started playing his electric guitar in the living room.Rumours have it that Bertrand might be back for more in the future...CONSTRUMAT BARCELONA 200337
