<strong>Tyde</strong>Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2012v<strong>Tyde</strong>With <strong>Tyde</strong>, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullechave developed a new family of heightadjustabletables. While stand-up/sitdowntables are generally only availableas single workstations, <strong>Tyde</strong> extends thisconcept to offer the benefits of workingwhile standing and sitting to doubleworkstations and conference tables.<strong>Tyde</strong> incorporates special features toaddress the acoustic challenges of today'sopen plan offices. The electric heightadjustment motor is especially quiet andconcealed under the table beneath asound-absorbing cover. In addition, thenewly developed screens in acousticpolyester fleece work effectively with thecover to dampen ambient noise.<strong>Tyde</strong> caters to individual requirements.Desks in various sizes can be outfittedto accommodate the required functions.Users can choose from three heightadjustment options: an electric motor forstand-up/sit-down tables and a handcrank or manual locking mechanism forseated versions. Additional elements suchas technical beams, various screens, CPUholders and other accessories allow forfurther individualisation.Ronan & Erwan BouroullecThe brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroulleclive and work in Paris.
