Legally, we are unableto waive the late fees or penalties.<strong>Plainwell</strong> AreaCommunity CenterProviding a safe and comfortable place forarea residents to meet.The Center is owned by the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Plainwell</strong> andleased for one dollar per year to the <strong>Plainwell</strong> AreaCommunity Center Board <strong>of</strong> Directors whichoperates the Center as a 501(c)(3) nonpr<strong>of</strong>itcorporation. The directors are volunteers who areresponsible for day-to-day operations and majorimprovements. Operational expenses are paid fromrental income. Major improvements are funded bydonations and foundation grants.Twenty-five groups rent the Center on a regularbasis.
