In this program, typically developing children (who do not have delays or disabilities) are integrated into our preschool classes. These children serve as peer role models for our students with special needs. In exchange, the peer role models benefit from participating in the learning experiences of a developmentally appropriate curriculum, including general knowledge, language, literacy, social/emotional, and motor development. Preschool peers attend school four half-­‐days per week, Monday through Thursday, excluding school holidays and vacations. Parents are responsible for providing transportation. The cost is $70 per month (payable in August, December, and March). We will be conducting a play-­‐based screening at Northview Primary on Friday, March 22, 2013. You will be notified by letter one week prior to screening of your child’s assigned time. Attendance at the play-­‐based screening does not guarantee your child a spot in the program. No exceptions. v Child must be toilet trained prior to the screening. v Child must participate in a play-­‐based screening on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Northview Primary, 133 Lexington Avenue. v Parents must provide transportation to and from school. v If accepted, enrollment papers and deposit must be completed and returned to the Findlay City Schools Welcome Center (TLB Corporate Center, 1219 W Main Cross, Suite 102) by May 1, 2013. v Children that currently attend Findlay City Schools Preschool may apply for the 2013-­‐2014 school year. Currently enrolled students do not need to attend the March screening. FEES: v A $20 deposit is due by May 1, 2013, to secure a spot in the preschool program. Please note that the deposit is non-­‐refundable and will be credited to the supply account at your child’s building. v $210 is due every three months for a total of $630 (in addition to the $20 deposit) **Due at the August parent meeting, December 1, and March 1** v By paying ahead in full for the entire year, you will receive a $30 discount. To qualify, $600 (in addition to the $20 deposit) is due at the Parent Meeting in August. v A $20 LATE FEE will be required for payments received after the 10 th of each month. v Payments may be made by check or on-­‐line at www.findlaycityschools.org through ezpay. DEPOSIT: $20 deposit must be paid by May 1, 2013, to secure a spot for the 2013-­‐2014 school year. This deposit is non-­‐refundable and will be used toward building supply fees.
