Access Control, Door Access ControllerSOLICARD ARX LCU9016ApplicationArea of use is office, hotels, public buildings with high secure requiremants.The local central unit in the ARX-family that is connects directly to the TCP/IPnetwork. The LCU can control up to 16 doors/32 card readers. The LCU is basedon the Linux operating system, has flash memory and can easily be adapted tomany future requirements. LCU9016 will integrate seamlessly in the network andtake advantage of existing DNS and DHCP servers.SOLICARD ARX LCU9016 is equipped with memory to handle over 100 000 cardsand over 1000 schedules, day-types and other settings. A separate log-eventmemory can store more than 30 000 log-events.The LCU’s can work stand alone in the case of a network failure. Card holderswill get access to doors according to normal rules and log events are stored locally.When the network comes back up the stored log events are transmitted to theserver automatically. All communication to the server uses PKI certification forauthorization and SSL encryption for data protection, which is the same levelof security that Internet banks are using.FunctionI the base configuration the LCU is equipped with one loop card for four doors,which each can have two card readers /in/out/ and an open-button.
