Thereading distance is approx. 5-10 cm. 6485PL is equipped with clear backlit symbols,such as green/red man, alarm status, enter code and present code carrier. Bothcards and tags exist as code carriers. Both types are passive, i.e. they don’t containany batteries. The tags are practical since they can easily be placed on a keyring.The cards are combicards, which means that they include both the proximitytechnology and a magneticstripe making it possible to use it in a magnetic cardreader connected to the samesystem or another magnetic system.
