Everything onyour deck and in the yard is practically screaming tobe washed, mowed, planted etc. Spring is the officialkickoff to new beginnings, reorganizing and of course, yard work. Well, at least the sun is shining! And let’snot forgot about all the great ski days we have left -makes it really easy to look at the mossy deck chairsand say “It’s not really warm enough to sit outside yet, plus it’ll probably rain again anyway.”Perfect ski days aside, it’s still time for all our ballplayers to dig out their gloves and see if they canstill throw a ball. Scott Venema is our commishextraordinaire and he’d love to put you on a team, so if you’re looking to find somethingfun to do this summer with your fellow PSCers, send him an email at:scott_venema@hotmail.comWe also have another important event coming up which is the AGM. We make all ourimportant decisions then, vote in a new executive, sign up for the OK’s and catch upwith our members. Look for more info on that in this edition of the Bootpress and thenext couple as well. If you’ve been thinking about trying your hand at an executive role, now’s the time to let people know - it’s been a great experience for me and I highlyrecommend that everyone take a turn at directing our club. It’s kinda fun, and you getto learn a lot about the club, its history and help shape its future. We’d also love to plan a little trip thissummer. If you’ve gotsome ideas and are ableto help coordinate, welove to hear from you. Itcould be anything froma rafting weekend to abicycle tour through Italianwine country - the choicesare endless.Love yaLiz604-568-1170www.volutionsalon.ca 2209 York Aveinfo@volutionsalon.ca Vancouver, BC V6K 1C5Thank you Vo•lu•tion Salon for your generousdonation to our recent club night.Save the Date:This years AGM will be on June 22nd @ 6:30 pm but theplace is TBD.
