The first of them will pass by LakeTiberias (i.e. the Sea of Galilee) and drink out of it, and when the last ofthem passes, he will say: ‘There was once water here . . . .’”(Sahīh Muslim)While we will be returning to this subject in the chapter whichaddresses the question: ‘Have Gog and Magog been released intothe world?’, we may here note that there would be conceptualcontradiction if we were to believe that Gog and Magog would bereleased only after the return of Jesus and after such return hasdelivered the news that the Last Hour has arrived. Such beliefwould also be factually contradicted by evidence that the Sea ofGalilee is now close to drying up and that no one has ever foundthe barrier of blocks of iron which was built to contain Gog andMagog and which must still be standing on earth if Gog andMagog have not as yet been released. This book also demonstratesthat such belief would also contradict the system of meaning of thesubject that has been extracted from the Qur’ān and Ahadīth inaddition to the plain and clear declaration of their release made byProphet Muhammad himself (peace and blessings of Allah Most High beupon him).123
