In fact hewould be Dajjāl the false Messiah or the Anti-Christ.• The two actors in that continuing drama who were responsiblefor achieving all of the above as well as that which is about tooccur, have been European Christians and Jews. They reconciledtheir profound differences and mutual hatred to create amysterious European Jewish-Christian alliance which in turn,gave birth to modern Western secular civilization. Thatessentially godless and amazingly decadent civilization, in whicha man could legally marry another man, has continued to dazzlethe world with a scientific and technological revolution thatchanges and refashions the entire world time and again.What can possibly explain the mysterious reconciliationwhich has taken place between European Christians and Jewswhich paved the way for the creation of European Jewish-Christianfriendship and alliance? After all, Christians had always accusedJews of responsibility for the crucifixion of a Jesus whom theyworshiped as God. Indeed the Qur’ān itself has recorded theJewish boast of such responsibility:‏﴿وق َوله ِم إ ِنا ق َتل ْنا ال ْمسِيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول َ الل ّه ..…… ﴾. . . and their boast, "Behold, we have slain the Messiah Jesus, son ofMary, a Messenger of Allah!" (Since they did not recognize him as theMessiah, nor as a Messenger of Allah, this appears to sarcastic languageon their part.)(Qur’ān, al-Nisā’, 4:157)There must be something which explains not only thissurprising reconciliation, friendship and alliance between EuropeanChristians and Jews, but also their publicly proclaimed new60
