Motion Carried.Rich Johnson: Talked about hanging signs around the clubfrom the grant sponsors like NRA Woman on Target. I wouldhave to get back with the board on the cost of the signs.Chris Peltier: Chris came and asked the board if they canhelp out on the 4 th Tuesday of the month in the kitchenbecause I’m having trouble having getting people to <strong>com</strong>e inand cook. It will take four or five people to run the kitchen andthey should show up between five and five thirty to get ready.PRESIDENT'S REPORT:Charley talked about Good Old Days; they are going to needsome more help. And if you have anything to donate to thesilent auction please get it to Kitty Lewan or Lucy Petrykoski.Bingo is in need of help; can any of the board members helpout.VICE PRESIDENT'S REPORT:John LaFave / Keith Zerwas: Motion to approve dates aspresented. Motion Carried.Charley Stevens/ Kruckenberg: Motion to Close allOutdoor shooting on September 14 th from 1pm-2pm for theMemorial Dedication. Discussion followed. MotionRescinded.There will be a Women on Target event on August <strong>10</strong> th andthe cost will be $45. Hunters Ed Class will be starting up onJuly 30 th and the cost will be $<strong>10</strong>. The club is in need of somenew or gently used items for the silent auction at Good OldDays, please call Kitty Lewan or Lucy Petrykoski if you haveanything to donate. Daily Raffle is in need of some sellers -we will give you some hours on your card and you also couldwin some money. There will be a woods walk and a dog andsuds shoot on July 31 st the cost will be $<strong>10</strong>. The FNRA dinnerwill be September 19 th the cost for the package is $125 or$35 for the dinner. The dinner will be Prime Rib / Chicken, redskin potatoes with a salad and ice cream for desert.RECORDING SECRETARY'S REPORT:John LaFave/ Andy Lynch: Motion to receive and file athank you letter to the club: Motion Carried.MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY'S REPORT:Mark Geiger reported as of this date we have 126 regularmembers, 432 working, 336 Senior, 60 probationary and 2deceased for a total of 618 and <strong>10</strong>06 real members. The waywe took dues this year went very well. But so far we have 298people suspended for not paying their dues. They have untilSeptember 1 st to do so.TREASURER'S REPORT:Last month we were in the red. Let’s keep it in line and I willhave my report next month.OPERATIONS MANAGER REPORT:Dave said the club might put the parking spot markers back inplace because people are driving off the black top and it ismessing up the parking lot. The Beef Cook Out will be heldon August <strong>10</strong> th and the cost will be $<strong>10</strong>. The Rocking Underthe Stars brought in $3208 for the club. One of the clubs dishwashers asked me if the club would like to take out an ad inthe Walled Lake Central year book.Pete Cesaro Sr. / Mark Geiger: motion to place ad in theWalled Lake Central year book for $125. Motion CarriedPCI credit card processing said we are not passing our scandue to an outside source. Discussion followed. Rich Johnson/ Charley Stevens: Motion to be apioneer sponsor of the friends of the NRA dinner for $2500:Motion Carried.Rework of the berm is <strong>com</strong>ing along slow we are in need of adozer.NEW BUSINESS:Rich Johnson presented the layout for the stewardship signsfrom the NRA grants, which are to go on the indoorrange, skeet and trap, and the outdoor range. The signs willbe 3x4 feet or smaller and I will <strong>com</strong>e back next month with afinal design and pricing. And we have another grantpossibility available to us through the Hal and Jean Glassenmemorial Foundation. First Kid’s Fishing Clinic A SuccessEight Multi-Lakes kids were greeted with fineweather at our Reed Lake dock for the first Multi-Lakes Kid’s Fishing clinic. Fisher-kids includedMegan and Ryan Budai, Lilli Willis, John Walker,Abi and Tyler Latessa plus Tony and Germano.Ages ranged from 6 to 12.A short picnic table class taught the kidsabout our Reed Lake fish, fishing safety, knottying. Then some practice casting and on to thedock for some real fishing.A good time was had by all. As luck wouldhave it the biggest fish, an almost two poundbass, was caught by our smallest kid – Lilli Willis.Hank Murawski, MLCA #74117
