1997 The Chemnitz Programme: 3,700 people agree on a historic programme heralding

1998 Codex conference in Berlin: massive protest once again
foils the plans of the Codex Alimentarius conference.
1999 Plans were afoot to ban vitamin therapy in Great Britain
via the MLX 249 draft bill. In the face of massive protests,
the British government was recalled from summer recess
for a crisis meeting at which the planned legislation
was withdrawn.
