• Based on the feedback received in theseconsultations, a handbook was prepared byBCIL in consultation with DBT for membersand DBT nominees of IBSCs covering thecomposition, functions, role in approval and achecklist for evaluating projects, which can beused on a case-to-case basis.• A CD containing important biosafetyregulations and guidelines for GMOs is alsoincluded in the handbook for ready referenceby the IBSC members and nominees of DBT
